About Misfit Society Coffee Club

Misfit Society Coffee Club is a place for misfits, outcasts, savants, artists, prodigies, freaks, underdogs, and pretty much everyone in-between. Our ultimate goal is to be a warm, welcoming house of refuge for all. We are proud to feature our own locally roasted Misfit Society Coffee with an inventive offering of purposefully crafted specialty lattes, coffee “standards”, housemade burritos, sandwiches, pastries and more seven days a week. Menu items are served up in a creatively cozy setting, equally suited for an early morning study session with classmates, a lunch meeting with colleagues, or a late afternoon hangout with friends old and new. I've been to almost every coffee shop in the downtown area, and Misfit is one of my easy top 3/one of the shops I've been back to the most. I love that the lattes are both too sweet and still taste like coffee

This used to be one of my favorite coffee shops but has SERIOUSLY gone downhill in the past week or so. It seems like the quality of drinks and service both dropped off out of nowhere. I don't know if they changed their recipes or what, but both times I've been in the past week my latte has tasted flavorless and the staff don't really seem to care about the quality of the drinks they're making. I'm very disappointed as I used to love this place but really any other coffee shop nearby is seeming like a better option.

I used to come here quite often but there were discrepancies in how my vanilla latte tasted between the baristas. Sometimes it was wayyy too sweet and other times it was like I couldn’t taste any sweetness at all. Everyone is super nice and I used to study here a lot but I grew tired of my latte tasting different each time :(

This is a fun and edgy spot to stop and hang out for coffee. The decor is entertaining and the vibes make for a good getaway. Unfortunately, the nitro cold brew doesn't really have much nitro in it so it doesn't even form a head. I'm not sure if the mix was off that day or if this is just how they do it. While the atmosphere was amazing I couldn't stay in the building more than 5 minutes because it was hot as Hades. Definitely will give it another shot the next time I come to town. Love the vibes.

What a unique new little coffee spot! My guest and I tried the PB & J latte and they were so different but delicious! They were prepared with beautiful latte art which we appreciated. The atmosphere is very quaint and modern. We met the person in charge of marketing the café and had a great conversation with her for like half an hour. Her name is Megan. Such a sweetheart and she had lots of recommendations! Overall, one of my new favorite Ann Arbor coffee shops, definitely worth a stop by!
